Endourology is one of the most important and fastest growing disciplines in urology. At the same time, Endourology is one of the most difficult professions to master. Safe and effective implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic endourological procedures requires a long experience. The material in this publication, compiled under the leadership of founder and president of the World Endourology Society prof. Arthur Smith, covers all existing techniques of endourological interventions, including Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy, laparoscopic techniques and robot-assisted surgery. Each direction has a separate section, which describes in details techniques, especially the key points and the possible complications of a particular method. Unfortunately, this manual has not translations and editions in Russian and acquaintance with them requires knowledge of the English language.
